About Us

We are the Jacksons….South Carolinians by birth, but Christ Followers by the grace of God. Our family of 5 is currently building financial and prayer support to become apart of a church planting team in Lisbon, Portugal. We desire to be servants and stewards of the life changing message of Jesus.

Rawlinson Road Baptist

Rawlinson Road Baptist Church is a key part in our role as missionaries. Acts 13 shows us how the local church was essential in sending out missionaries. RRBC is our sending church and has helped prepare us and supported us in countless ways.

ABWE

ABWE (Association of Baptist for World Evangelism) works along side Rawlinson Road to equip and prepare us as missionaries. They have 94 years of experience equipping missionaries in 80 different countries. Their vision is to fulfill the Great Commission by multiplying leaders, churches, and missions movements among every people.

What we are doing + How you can help

In Fall of 2019, we sensed God leading us to pursue missions. God’s Word clearly states that faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ (Rom. 10:17). This Gospel, good news, of Jesus coming to earth, living a sinless life, and dying on a cross (and raising from the dead) to pay the sin penalty that man could not pay has to be heard. We felt an urgency to go and tell after learning that there are less than 0.5% of evangelical Christians in Portugal. So…we said yes to missions and let God do the rest. We will join a group of missionaries in Lisbon and work to establish new churches with the goal of seeing nationals step into the role of leading and pastoring. Our family will work to build relationships, share the Gospel, disciple believers, preach God’s Word, and serve the Portuguese.

We need your help to make this happen. We need prayer partners to commit to praying for us and the ministry. Also, although we are currently at 100% funding, at times support ebbs and flows.
